DESCRIPTION:Come check out visiting Navy ships! \nA few need-to-know points regarding ship tours: \n– A new timed approach to ticketing is in development. Check back here for details as the event approaches. \n– Anyone wishing to tour an active duty ship will need to come to the main event EXPO to board a free ship tour shuttle. Ship tour lines are inside the EXPO footprint and are open to the public from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily from Friday\, May 23\, through Monday\, May 26. \n– Ship tour lines will close promptly. \n– The main event EXPO is located at 250 S. Harbor Blvd.\, San Pedro\, CA 90731 – directly adjacent to the Battleship IOWA. \n– Please wear closed-toed shoes. For your safety\, flip flops and high-heeled shoes are strongly discouraged. \nIMPORTANT: The only way to reach the ship tour location is by shuttle from the main event EXPO. There is no personal vehicle or pedestrian access to the ship tour area. \n_______________ \nNAVY SHIP TOUR SECURITY REQUIREMENTS\nALL ship tour guests 18 years and older must show a government-issued ID card before boarding an active US Navy ship \nRequirements for US Citizens\n– Acceptable IDs for US Citizens include a valid driver’s license\, passport\, or other government–issued photo identification\n– Paper copies or pictures of ID cards or passports are not accepted \nRequirements for Non-U.S. Citizens\n– Non-U.S. Citizens or anyone without legal permanent residence status must show a valid passport to board US Navy ships\n– Non-U.S. Citizens will be fingerprinted and photographed while passing through security screening prior to boarding a US Navy ship\n– Paper copies or pictures of ID cards or passports are not accepted \n_______________ \n  \nNOTE: Battleship IOWA tours are separate and may be purchased on site or in advance. Current enlisted military and veterans with proof of service are free of charge during Memorial Day weekend.

You can enjoy numbers by Duke Ellington\, Glenn Miller\, Fats Waller\, Elvis\, Frank Sinatra\, Manhattan Transfer and so much more.  We also have a fantastic\, very popular Christmas/Holiday Show and a great Patriotic Show! \nEach member of the group has an extensive background in entertainment\, ranging from National tours for Columbia Artists\, performing in theater productions\, television\, radio\, recording\, and also performing for the US troops in Europe\, as well as other European venues. \nBased in sunny Southern California\, the group began as an idea of gathering together a few veteran singers/performers who wanted to create a unique experience for an audience to enjoy. They have succeeded in uniting their individual skills and artistry to blend into the magic that is “JUST US 4” – delighting those who appreciate good music\, great fun and a touch of nostalgia!

DESCRIPTION:A product of the Californian sunshine\, Beach Rock band Safety Orange have been proudly jamming across the US since ‘95. Founded through a love for surfing and good music\, their laid-back\, reggae-tinged approach to rock has seen them record four studio albums\, spread their sound across the country\, and broadcast good vibes to listeners around the globe. \nFounded in San Diego\, California by surfing buddies Harry Elmore and Sol Turpin. Safety Orange have gone on to craft out a sound truly unique – strong on the downbeat\, soulfully uplifting and wrapped up in reggae-rock tones that intertwine with lashings of punk\, ska\, and Latin music. \nLike most great stories\, the one of Safety Orange was birthed by chance. After a surf session\, Sol was promptly asked to step in on bass by co-founder Harry. It wasn’t long before the duo played at a friend’s house party\, where they proceeded to tear the roof off and alter the very course of their musical lives. Since then\, Safety Orange has never looked back – they fell in love with playing music for others\, and Sol has since strived to bring the Safety Orange sound to others across the globe. \nFrom their 1997 debut offering ‘Life As a Fish’\, their sophomore 2005 album ‘Troll Rock High’\, to the ‘State of Where I Am’\, Safety Orange have had their sights on raising the bar for their signature sound. Their third and most recent album which included worldwide phenomenon ‘Hotel Whatever You Like’\, went on to receive over 4 million streams in a short amount of time\, and they’ve since gone on to release 36 singles thus far. DESCRIPTION:“Join us for great music from one of SOCALs most talented Yacht Rock acts .All five musicians:  Kevin Bachelder  – Vocalist / Trumpet \, Allison Piccioni – Vocalist / Keys / Sax \, Dieter Weinzettl –  Drums\,  Henry Soliz – Bass  and Frank Browne – Guitar / MD have opened for and or performed with numerous  National touring acts over the last several Years as well as laying down licks as top notch musicians on various albums and other music era acts throughout their careers. The Yacht Rock style of music which has been coined Yacht Rock has only been in the last 10 years but it’s an endearing term to describe what is a basically a hybrid of Jazz \, Rock\, Pop and Soul. Baby Boomers used to call it EZ Listening or Kick Back Music.  It was an easy choice for the band to want to join similar creative forces since having had experience in the genres from those ongoing musical endeavors. \n“The Yacht Groove became a reality a few Years ago as a high end Corporate Party Music Agency band booked primarily at: Country Clubs\, Special Events and Birthday Parties but in the last couple years they have been doing City parks\, Casinos\, and Festivals as well. .
